For the past five years, I have had the privilege of supporting the local business community as the New Brunswick analyst for Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), sharing information, promoting local success stories and gaining a whole new perspective on what it takes to run a business. I stand in awe at what so many business owners do each day.
As it turns out, entrepreneurship is contagious. Building on my experience over the past five years, I am very excited to be embarking on a new adventure alongside my talented husband, Yannick (a woodworker by trade and a craftsman by nature), to launch D.A.S. Concrete Countertops Inc., where our vision is to manufacture beautiful, durable, eco-friendly countertops that more people can afford, all the while growing a successful business that will create new opportunities for growth in our community - and in the lives of our three young children.
