I would describe myself as a resilient and creative French teacher with over a decade of experience teaching both native speakers and second-language learners. My career began after 20 years in customer service, alongside advanced studies in philosophy, professional writing, and French literature. A turning point came while teaching on an Indigenous reserve, where I developed playful, visual, and game-based strategies to engage students who initially resisted French. Since then, I have taught learners of all ages and backgrounds, always focusing on empathy, flexibility, and innovation. Today, as founder of Superfrench Canada, I design accessible, learner-focused courses and digital modules. My pedagogical approach is rooted in science-based researches about memory and cognition and I view language as a living organism, best approached with openness rather than rigid purism.
